Robot

 

Robotics Club

Meetings are held on Thursdays from 2:30 - 4:00 pm in room T-2.

All students are welcome. No experience is needed.

Ms. Elliott elliottm@mdusd.net is the faculty adviser.

Purpose (the WHY): There is a need for programs to inspire students to develop an early interest in robotics, programming, and technology as a result of declining participation in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math programs. A collection of resources providing research on this trend and the need that employers have to fill STEM positions.

Meetings are held on Mondays and Thursdays from 2:45-4:45 pm in room B3.

ECK: Environmentally Concerned Kids

Meetings are held Tuesdays at 2:30 pm with Mr. Jackson in B3.  

ECK Club does the recycling on campus and promotes awareness of composting and reducing waste.

 

CJSF

CJSF: California Junior Scholarship Federation

Meetings are on Tuesdays at 2:45 pm with Ms. Freese in room A5. 

CJSF is a service organization.  They raise funds to help various organizations. 

This club is open to 8th graders in the Fall and opens to 7th graders in the Spring.  During the open enrollment (which is announced in the daily bulletin), students may pick-up an application in the office.  A student must qualify with a point system of their grades from the previous quarter.

Magic the Gathering

Meetings are held Thursdays at 2:45pm with Mr. Jackson in B3.

Club usually meets from 2:45pm -5:00pm (end time subject to change).

Gaming Club:

6th Graders- Do you have a love for computer games like Minecraft, Fortnite and Roblox? Well then come on down to Foothill’s gaming club in Mr. Waters class in E-1 on Tuesdays during 1st lunch. We will discuss all the games you like, love and play!
